Luis Cajero~

Luis Cajero is a professional rock climber with twenty three years of climbing experience and nine as a professional climbing instructor and personal trainer.

Throughout his career Luis has been passionate about sharing his love for climbing by developing more than fifteen bouldering and sport climbing areas while establishing (at the very least) 900 first ascents for both bouldering and roped routes within the areas he has either developed or climbed. He is a safe professional climber and an amazing role model for the future generations of climbers here in Mexico.

With his own proven training method Luis has been able to ascend boulder problems up to the V13 difficulty as well as first numerous ascents of V12/V13 R/X highballs. Within the sport climbing realm he has redpointed up to 5.14b, has onsighted up to 5.13a and has first ascents on multi-pitch routes up to 5.13a. He is a skilled guide who finds the hidden strengths and potential within every client he meets.

Luis represents numerous international brands here in Mexico such as: Friction Labs, So iLL, Organic Climbing, Rhino Skin Solutions, Sublime Climbing, Tension Climbing as well as Spartan Holds, Gallito Cold Brew, Atman Adventure Wear and Mara & Co.

Since early 2020 Luis has devoted his time to develop several new areas in the Mexican climbing mecca of Guadalcazar. He has become the goto guide for all Mexican and foreign climbers that want to experience the magic of such an incredible place. Luis fits perfectly within the SouthernXposure brand as he has done very intensive work to involve all the local communities in understanding climbing-tourism and how we can all benefit from visitors to these incredible areas.
